The actress joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her first appearance on screen with a brief role on the show Girl 6. She then appeared in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo was first seen in a film in Girl 6 (1996) she then featured in episodes of New York Undercover as well as The District. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo played a regular role in the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages came out in the same vein, along with Blue Bloods. Navedo is also a part of movies like El Cantante, Remember Me and many others. Navedo is also one of the several characters who appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Navedo was a part of the comic film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious Parody, which debuted in the year 2015 is a parody of the popular Fast and Furious Film series. Navedo's professional career began in daytime soaps. In 1995-1997, she played Linda Soto on ABC's soap show One Life to Live. She was also cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera, with the character Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her debut on film, playing a character in Girl 6. She later played a role as a guest on New York Undercover (1996) as well as The District. Navedo starred with Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
