Her first appearance was on the morning soap operas One Life to Live & Guiding Light. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of NY) is an American actress and singer. Navedo began her career as an actress in soap operas for daytime TV. She was on the show as Linda Soto, the ABC soap One Life to Live from 1995 until 1998. The actress joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her first appearance on screen with a brief role on the show Girl 6. She then appeared in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo was first seen in a film in Girl 6 (1996) she then featured in episodes of New York Undercover as well as The District. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo played a regular role in the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages came out in the same vein, along with Blue Bloods. Navedo is also a part of movies like El Cantante, Remember Me and many others. Navedo is also one of the several characters who appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Navedo was a part of the comic film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious Parody, which debuted in the year 2015 is a parody of the popular Fast and Furious Film series. Navedo's professional career began in daytime soaps. In 1995-1997, she played Linda Soto on ABC's soap show One Life to Live. She was also cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera, with the character Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her debut on film, playing a character in Girl 6. She later played a role as a guest on New York Undercover (1996) as well as The District. Navedo starred with Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
